SCL-3415 intercepts signals from the L-band uplink (from Iridium Phones to Iridium Satellites) and downlink (from Iridium Satellites to Iridium Phones) to provide duplex calls within its uplink coverage range (line of sight) and simplex calls beyond that range. Employing advance techniques to handle Iridium's proprietary protocol, the system delivers processed, intelligible actionable output in the form of Voice, SMS, and Data sessions along with Session-related information, such as Called Party Phone Number (for sessions initiated by Iridium Phone), Caller ID, TMSI/IMSI/IMEI, and geo-location.
