Our A5.3 downgrader is specifically designed to support GSM Interception Systems, allowing for the interception of traffic from 2G networks utilizing A5.3 encryption. Employing state-of-the-art technology, the system efficiently downgrades A5.3 sessions in masse on selected Base Transceiver Stations (BTSs) to A5.1, thereby enabling interception. Furthermore, the system is versatile, capable of operating independently to seamlessly integrate with any cellular interception systems manufactured by third-party OEMs.
The A5.3 downgrader (SCL-A53CD) is an advanced multi-channel system which can downgrade A5.3 encryption to A5.1 on up to 16 BTSs within the service provider’s operational area. Utilizing proprietary complex algorithms and exploiting cellular network vulnerabilities, the SCL-A53CD seamlessly integrates into network-level security negotiation protocols to achieve encryption downgrade. It enables monitoring through our wideband passive GSM Monitoring system or any third-party solution, depending on operational requirements. The SCL-A53CD functions both standalone and in conjunction with our existing system or third-party passive GSM monitoring systems, facilitating comprehensive traffic monitoring from A5.3 encrypted BTSs.
